Annual Fashion Show and Exhibition

The Fashion Designing Department of the college organizes a Fashion Show and Exhibition every year. The key feature of the fashion show is that all the dresses displayed in various rounds are prepared by the students themselves as a part of their practical work. Each year the exhibition has a different theme and style of presentation

2016-17

On the occasion of Annual Function, a Fashion Show and Exhibition was organized by the students of the department during which Gowns made with waste material, Lahange and Dupatte with Zari-Zardozi work, Cushions, Bedroom Sets made with Tie & Die work were presented. In Fabric Printing workshop students of B.A. prepared dresses Kids Kingdom Play School.

2017-18

On the occasion of Annual Function a Fashion Show and Exhibition on with the theme of “Waste Fabric, Best Use” was organized by the students of the department - Lahangas, Gararas and Sarees made with Zari-Zardozi, Western Dresses, Trousers, Skirts and Blazers with various patterns were prepared using waste fabric and presented in the Fashion Show. Handmade jewellery was used by the participants.

2018-19

After a training of 15 days in Zari-Zardozi workshop organized at department level, the girls of the department participated in the Inter-college Entrepreneurship Exhibition organized by Veerangana Rani Avantibai Lodhi Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Bareilly and got First Prize. Student made designer bags with fabric of various textures was the highlight of the annual exhibition in this academic year.

2019-20

On the occasion of Annual Function a Fashion Show and Exhibition the students of the department presented which Kurtis, suits and Sarees of Kalamkari, and Designer Gowns. Uniform of N.C.C. cadets of the college was prepared by the students.

2020-21

Cushions were made with various techniques by preparing Nozzle, Printhand and Madhubani. During the 3 days workshop on Natural Die Work organized at department level, students got special effects of Marigold and Rose on white cotton cloth. Practical work done in this workshop was used as a special round in the Annual Fashion Show.
